GOAL: Make a realistic, cinematic animation of a massive WWII-era mountain fortress, entirely from scratch, in Blender. MOTION: A grim stone castle-fortress is carved into a snowy Alpine peak at night: towers, battlements, bunkers, a cable car to the valley, a rail tunnel, radio masts and anti-aircraft guns. Over the animation a blizzard rolls in, searchlights sweep the sky, the cable car glides up through the snow, a steam train thunders out of the tunnel, the guns turn and fire flak into the clouds, and finally the storm clears to reveal the fortress glowing under the northern lights.
